About Southern Gallery

Welcome to the Southern Gallery home to the world's largest exhibition of work by internationally renowned Belgian wildlife and nature artist Carl Brenders. Our permanent collection has over 160 of his stunningly detailed limited edition prints and original watercolours on display all of which are for sale, including all his latest works.

In addition to the work of Carl Brenders, the Southern Gallery is also one of the major UK venues for the work of renowned Lancashire artist Steven Townsend famed for his ability to paint working dogs in remarkable reality.

Joining the natural art aspect to the Southern Gallery, are a number of new artists including landscape painter Max Oliver, who joined the gallery in 2006 and whose work captures the rugged beauty of the Cornish Coastline perfectly.

With the Artisan Cafe on site serving a range of beautiful home made cakes with freshly brewed teas and coffees, surrounded by some of the finest art available, the Southern Gallery has developed a reputation as one of the most fascinating art galleries in Cornwall.
